Important Notes
- Enterprise Document Management (EDM) - OnBase Access Form must be completed before logging into OnBase for the first time.
- Accounts are automatically locked out after 60 days without login.
- Clients will be automatically logged out after 60 minutes of inactivity. You will need to login once again if logged out for inactivity.
- PC users may use the Unity or Web Client for accessing OnBase. Mac users must use the web client. PC users can request the Unity Client from the Service-Center or by following this self-service guide. For use of the Web Client, refer to the section labeled “Web Client – Step by Step Guide”
Unity Client – Step by Step Guide
- Double Click on the “Unity Client” icon on your Desktop. Alternatively, you can search for “Unity Client” in the windows explorer.
- Click on the topmost drop-down box. Here you can choose which system you would like to login to. In most cases you will select OnBase-Prod. OnBase-Test is reserved for testing requested system changes and training.
- You will be prompted with a Sign in page. Enter your CSUB emall and click the "Next" button. Then, enter your CSUB password and click the "Sign In" button.
- Next, a Duo 2Step login page will prompt. Complete the two-factor authentication process to be signed into OnBase.
Web Client – Step by Step Guide
- Open your web browser. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, & Google Chrome are our recommended web browsers. Refer to the chart below to obtain the correct web page URL for the system you are attempting to access. In most cases you will select OnBase-Prod.

- Once navigated to the correct system, you should be prompted with a Sign in page. Enter your CSUB email and click the "Next" button. Enter your CSUB password and click the "Sign In" button.
3. Next, a Duo 2Step login page will prompt. Complete the two-factor authentication process to be signed into OnBase.
